I recently had an amazing stay at a charming homestay on the beautiful island of Bali. The hotel had a lovely garden and a refreshing pool, perfect for taking a dip after a day at the beach. The rooms were comfortable and had a nice view of the garden. I particularly enjoyed the open bathrooms which added a unique touch to the experience. The staff were kind and friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. Moreover, the hotel included breakfast, which was tasty and had enough variety to suit everyone's taste.

Its not five star or anything but we had no problems at all.

Taruna Homestay is a family business and Taruna, the owner, makes whatever he can do to make his guest feel as comfortable as possible. And sometimes even more: during our stay he invited all guest to a baking session to introduce us to local "cake" baking. I have never before experienced such a cordial, lovely and always-smiling host than Taruna. The same is applicable for the rest of the team. The location is perfect for visiting the National Park, a great diving experience or just chilling on the black beach. The food (breakfast and dinner) itself and the arrangement was excellent. Value for money is very good. Taruna was our first Bali-stopp and will be always memorable.

Actually: nothing :) It is quite far from the airport, but well worth the drive (4 hours). The north of Bali is beautiful and quit.

We recently stayed at a cozy homestay in Bali and had a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay quite comfortable. The outdoor massage area was one of the best features, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the town. We also loved the delicious breakfast and dinner served at the on-site restaurant. Plus, the location was great - close to key landmarks and transportation options.

Hearing some noise from the nearby street, but it didn't affect our stay too much. the beach was a bit further than we had expected, but the beautiful garden and pool more than made up for it.

Taruna, the owner is a great man and very helpful, Lia and Mae give a great massage and the food is fresh, extremely delicious and a great price. I would highly recommend staying here.

The only less positive aspect of Taruna is that there is no swimming pool.

I had an amazing time staying in this hotel - from the beautiful gardens to the lovely swimming pool, it truly felt like paradise in the midst of greenery. The hotel also provided great transportation services, including complimentary motorbike transport and easy access to temple visits in the morning. Despite not being located right by the beach or village centre, this location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Additionally, the staff were very professional and friendly, providing a delicious breakfast every morning and going above and beyond to deliver items we had left behind.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Spent my Easter holiday at a hotel in Bali. The outdoor shower with bathroom was amazing and the food at the restaurant was great. Key location fact: it was situated by the main road making access easy. The staff was also pretty helpful.

The hotel was overpriced and the power outlets were not working well. The wifi was also slow and there were no fruit options for breakfast.

Fantastic Bali Hospitality. The accommodation provided was good value, very clean double room modern cottage style with air conditioning The ensuite shower and toilet is arranged so that your can shower in sunlight or under the stars within your own privacy of course. The restaurant attached to the home stay is excellent in terms of the quality of the authentic food and service provided,. Very good value. The owner is very helpful in terms of providing you with information with no hard sell on tours, A taxi service can be arranged and they go out of their way to ensure your visit is enjoyable and that you recignise the Bali way of life which exists alongside tourism. Our taxi driver was the brother in law as all the other regular drivers were committed ... We had a great trip. The local beach is near by and very quiet, if you are looking for all night parties or raves go elsewhere, it isideal for snorkelling. As a novice (1st time) II was pleasantly surprised to swim alone with a small turtle whilst swimming near the coral reef.

On reflection I wish that we stayed more than the 2 days that we stayed. I probably enjoyed more food than I should have ... So will less of the food elsewhere in Bali which does not compaee.

The hotel staff were amazing. Trips were easily arranged from the hotel.

The beach close to the hotel was very dirty (rain season brings in the junk from sea). For snorkling and swimming, better gili to the beach further down town (15min walk).
